Abstract Text
Hybrid polypectomy techniques offer a practical balance between safety, efficiency, and high-quality resection for intermediate and large colorectal lesions. We present two rectal polyp cases demonstrating complementary hybrid approaches. The first case features a 3-cm Paris Is, NICE 2 rectal polyp removed using the Precut-EMR technique: after submucosal injection, a circumferential incision is created with the tip of the snare, allowing placement of the snare into the groove and achieving en bloc resection. The second case shows a 2-cm LST-G-NM, NICE 2 lesion resected by Tip-in EMR, where a small mucosal incision on the oral side serves as an anchor to prevent slippage and facilitate en bloc capture. These hybrid methods are technically simpler than ESD, time-efficient, improve en bloc resection rates compared with conventional EMR, and are particularly useful for 15–30 mm polyps.
