Mucosal Incision and Decompression for Giant Esophageal and Gastric Hematoma: A Novel Therapeutic Approach
Poster Abstract
Abstract Text
Endoscopic mucosal incision and decompression appears to be a safe and effective treatment for submucosal hematomas of the esophagus and stomach. This technique can rapidly relieve retrosternal pain, prevent dysphagia caused by luminal compression, and reduce the risk of mucosal ischemia, necrosis, and related complications.
